A vote of confidence

Africa Rail helps us in a big way, it's an opportunity to network with decision-makers, financiers and companies who are suppliers of railway technology. I've met a lot of them here. I've also met a lot of people specialising in railway financing. We're able to share a lot of strategies. We have a lot of operators that come from Africa … In the long term there must be a connection between the different countries from a railway perspective. Africa Rail is a premier continent event that both railway operators on the passenger and freight side need to be part of. I'm glad that for the past 2 years we've been directly associated with Africa Rail. I'd urge anyone who is interested in transport in Africa to come to Africa Rail every year, they need to put that time aside to interact with people.
